Your Land……Stitch and More Stitch
This is a hand stitching class making contemporary embroideries based on observations of your land. Large, bold stitches overstitched with more stitches will be laid over a base made with an embellishing machine. The techniques of research and use of stitch can be transferred to your own investigations and travels. Basic tuition in the use of an embellishing machine will be covered. Ownership of an embellishing machine is not a requirement although if you have access to one, please bring it along.
